Identifying a person by identifying the ridges and valleys (minutiae) on the surface of their fingertips.

Hand: examining the geometric aspects of a hand, such as its width and finger length.
Iris: photographing someone’s iris in high contrast and mapping unique patterns
Face: the use of eigenfaces or local feature analysis to authenticate or recognize the identity of a person.
DNA: analyzing genetic sequences to find a match
Hand vein: the vein patterns in a person’s palm or finger can be used to identify them.
Retina: the ability to recognize objects by using the patterns of veins in the back of the eye.
Ear shape: utilizing a ray-producing algorithm to find curved characteristics in an ear picture
